I was deeply saddened to hear of Mrs. Julks’ passing. Although I moved away years ago and didn’t stay in regular contact, she was a meaningful part of my life growing up, and her kindness has never been forgotten. We shared the same birthday, something I always smiled about, and I always knew her as Mrs. Julks—a soft-spoken, gracious presence who treated everyone with warmth and respect. Even after her stroke in the 90s, she continued to live her life with strength, dignity, and quiet determination, never allowing it to define her. She was married for 66 years, a remarkable testament to love, commitment, and partnership. With my parents having passed years ago, it feels especially poignant to realize that Mr. Julks is now the last of that close-knit group of parents whose lives were once so intertwined by neighborhood and time. Please know that even from a distance, Mrs. Julks’ life mattered to me, and her memory is held with deep respect and gratitude. Our sincere condolences to Mr. Julks, Dave, Jolly, Darren, Lisa and Tonya and to all who loved her. May the many years of shared memories bring comfort during this difficult time. ❤️
