I had the pleasure of working with Lydia for nine years at Pasadena. She was more than a coworker. She was my friend. Lydia could be tough when she needed to be, but she had a big heart to go along with her big smile. She was appreciated by the employees that she worked with for the support that she provided and for her willingness to help. I always teased that Lydia ran things at Colex and that the rest of us would be better off if we just did what she said. I know she cared deeply for her family, friends and coworkers. I’m sure they will miss her terribly. May God bless them during this difficult time and may we all receive comfort through memories of our time with Lydia.
