To: The Family of Mrs. Lilly Henson My prayers and thoughts are with you . I am Mrs. Pearl Mixon, a classmate of Mrs. Henson. We grew up in the village of Lisbon,LA where morals, principles and values were instilled in our minds from home, community, church, and school. Lilly and I were honor students of the graduating class of 1961 of Pineview High School, Lisbon,LA. Lilly,known as Lizzie was Valedictorian and I was Salutertorian. Lilly continued her education at Grambling where she received her Bachelor in Education. It has been a blessing knowing Lilly as a kind and generous friend and classmate.
