To Jonathan and the Ozaine and Sherman families: Please accept my sincere condolences for the passing of my dear friend and colleague, “Lil” as we affectionately called her. I met Lil in 1981 when I begin my career at Exxon in New Orleans, LA. Lil was the first welcoming face to the city of New Orleans, and to my new job in which she gave me my first orientation. I did not know a soul in New Orleans..no family, no friends, but in the spirit of love and compassion, she welcomed me into her home…and made me feel like a family member. She nurtured me as a young professional, and single woman at the time. I will forever cherish her smile, genuine kindness, and love of God and family. She was truly an inspiration to the all the lives that she touched.
