It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Gladys Morris who passed on August 14, 2026.  During this time of bereavement, we ask that you keep the family lifted in prayer as they navigate this season of loss and reflection.

The life and legacy of Mrs. Gladys Morris will be forever cherished by her family and friends.

(Sister) Morris was a wonderful woman. She was a faithful member and leader of Providence missionary Baptist Church in Gonzales Texas. although she's been in Houston for 12 years or longer when she was physically able and when she was confined to her wheelchair, we would pick her up and she would attend Sunday school, and morning worship service . She sang in the mission choir, and the Gospel choir. she was Sunday teacher, school Superintendent and Mission President. (Cousin) Gladys, as we fondly called her was also an excellent seamstress who taught me how to so zippers. (LOL) She will be deeply missed, and we will continue praying for her family.
