I have been intrigued by the plant-based diet since that was Adam and Eve's diet and was exicted to learn that there was an African-American doctor in Houston. I deeply regret that I did not take advantage of Montgomery's wellness center and resources before now. But I'm going tomorrow to check it out. I pray God multiplies his efforts in his passing. Checking out that center will be my priority tomorrow. It's long overdue.

Dr. Baxter Montgomery was my Cardiologist for many years. My wife and I attended his Plant-Based Vegan Classes twice at his office. He was a phenomenal physician who truly cared for all of his patients. I always enjoyed eating at his onsite Vegan Restaurant and purchasing Vegan meals there to eat at home. I believe my health is much better because of Dr. Montgomery. Like everyone else, we were shocked at Dr. Montgomery's passing. Fifty nine years just doesn't seem like long enough for God to share him with us. We will keep his wife and four children uplifted in prayer. Our prayer is that Dr. Baxter Dilworth Montgomery rest in eternal peace.🙏✝️💝🌹

My sincere condolences to the Montgomery family, his staff, friend and patients. I had the privilege of attending one of his early Nutritional Boot Camp. At that time he was the instructor and conducted a solid A&P class on the adverse effects a non-plant based diet has on the body. He was passionate, witty and unwavering in his commitment to his patients and friends. Look how MANY lives he touched! We will miss you Doc...you're gone, but you'll never be forgotten. Rest in God's eternal peace.
