I join the Idlebird (Weldon) Family in recognizing Sis. Higgins' invitation to the Kingdom, with welcome arms. She, Rev. Higgins and my family were young people together, as well as early pioneers of Loyal Missionary Baptist Church. Now, they shall all meet again. Sis. Higgins will truly be missed at LMBC. She made sure all went well. Well, Sis. Higgins, Rest in Peace and I will see you again someday.

“But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher.’ Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you.
Our Sister has been invited. She was probably my mother's best friend and was always a kind word and blessing to me. She is home now and reunited with family and friends who have gone on before. For those of us who remain know that we who believe as she did will see her again. Family, friends be comforted in knowing that she is now in the presence of the Lord!
