To the Jackson Family: On behalf of our Pastor Dr. Garfield E. & 1st Lady Judy A. Como and the church family of The Resurrection Church we humbly send our most sincere condolences. We had the honor of knowing and serving as his friend and brother. We came to know Shannon through Pastor Paul High and we quickly became good friends. Shannon had a humble spirit about him and a voice like an Angel and could play that guitar. His voice reminded me of Sam Cooke, it was just that melodious. I managed the group he sang in The New Messengers and he put his heart and soul into the song “Jesus is a Rock. He also sang at my church and blessed us with “ Rest A While.” He attended our conferences and blessed us with his gift of singing. Take your test Shannon, we will see you in the morning.
