November 24, 1961 – November 13, 2019

Ron will be greatly missed. I had the chance to work with him at NASA in the Manufacturing area. Ron was always proud of his work and made thousands of parts for both NASA and contractors alike. There is no doubt that Ron's contributions furthered the nation's space program from the shuttle, to the international space station, and even the Orion program. Ron was also a mentor to several machinists in the shop and was always helpful and willing to share his experiences with others. I was honored to write the winning nomination on his behalf for the Jacobs Outstanding Mentor award that he won a few years ago. Ron's sense of humor as well as his technical expertise were always a welcome part of coming to work. Godspeed Ron and Ad Astra!
