Sensei Orlando has been an important part of our lives through teaching karate to our nine-year-old Charlize. He instilled confidence, and reinforced her learning and techniques. He gave warm and loving hugs to Charlize each time she was in his presence. Because of him, she earned her yellow and blue belts. Each time our family came into contact with Sensei, he would greet each of us with a warm handshake while always making sincere eye contact. He was a man of integrity and great respect, while being humble regarding his great skill and experience in martial arts. His love and kindness to Charlize gave her the ability to excell, focus, and perfect her skills. He touched each one of our lives with his grace and laughter. We will always love him for being the wonderful and giving personality that strenthened not only Charlize's character, but all of our family who were honored just being in his presence. May he spread his love to all in heaven where he will always shine as a bright light. Much love from Charlize, Berkeley, Leena, Jen, Brandon, Bette and Chuck
