Lucille Garrett

February 7, 1920 – July 17, 2018

Lucille Garrett was one of six children born to Walter and
Jeannie Jones. She attended school in Harrison County receiving
cosmetology license in 1954 from Hurd Beauty School. After several
years of hairstyling, she began working at Memorial Hospital. She
retired after twenty-five years of service.
Lucille accepted Christ at an early age and attended St. John and
Galilee Baptist Church. She became a member of Westside Church of
Christ and served faithfully until her demise.
She leaves to mourn daughters, Faye Stansbury, Debra Fulton; twelve
grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of relatives and
friends.
The rose represents beauty.
The stem represents strength.
The petals are soft as skin.
The fragrance pure and sweet.
The leaves represent arms outstretched.
Always loving, always giving, each time you look at this rose,
Remember…God made you special.
