Kenny P. and I first met in 1989 working for the same company. He and I became friends and were peers. Over the years, I was promoted a couple times locally, but always looked at Kenny P. as not only a friend, but a mentor. Years later, he was transferred to my division, and worked under my supervision. A wonderful man, I always looked up to him, but he and I wouild argue about work, then laugh when I reminded him who was his boss! He had so many funny quotes after I would tell him that. He absolutely loved his family. We always talked about his kids and grandkids everytime we worked together. My favorite quote from Peach, was, "Yeah Man". He took me to his childhood home off Calumet, if I remember that street correctly. Then, to his home off Hiram Clarke. Told me how he helped coach his son, Rayhon, football team. The last time I saw him was at his wife/s funeral. I remember taking him a bunch of food. He and I, always bought Pork Ribs when we worked together. HIs grandsons were upstaisrs playing while we talked downstairs. Will always remember him. Looking at his photo, brings back so many memories. I miss knowing he is no longer in this physical world.
