Dr. Hurst was an amazing man. I looked forward to working with him at the track meets throughout Houston. He was kind, friendly, and had a smile so infectious and warm. "Thank you" for being just who you were. I am honored to have worked with you. Rest in Paradise Dr. Hurst! You will be forever remembered.

Dr. Jesse (DOC) I am going to miss the smile that I would see every morning during AAU. I will miss seeing you at dinner with Mr. Larry. I will miss your quiet demeanor always watching. You were a staple in the AAU community that I will miss. Rest easy Doc rest easy.
