On behalf of our "FOREVER FRIENDS FAMILY" of retired educators from the former Shadydale Elementary School, we extend our heartfelt sympathy, love, and prayers to the family of Carolyn Fontenett. We will forever cherish the joy and excitement for learning we had as educators at Shadydale Elementary. The dedication and commitment to excellence were trademarks of Ms. Fontenett's professional journey. Mutual respect and admiration were the bonds that connected her with her students, parents, and community. She was truly an extraordinaire educator! We PRAISE GOD that our paths crossed along the way! God Bless her Family!

I didn’t get a chance to meet Sister Carolyn personally, but I’ve heard nothing but great things about her from various people. Pastors Phyllis and Irvin, and the entire family have my deepest condolences and you are continually in my prayers for God’s peace and comfort during your time of bereavement.
