I thank God and take comfort in His promises. I know that God’s ways are perfect and that my brother transitioned according to His divine plan. Still, in the natural, there is an indescribable pain. My heart aches, and he is missed already. Faith does not mean that we do not grieve—it means that even through our tears, we trust the One who holds us together. So, I will allow myself to mourn while holding tightly to God’s unchanging hand. I will cherish every memory, thank God for every moment we shared, and rest in the blessed assurance that this separation is not forever. My brother is absent from our presence, but he is safe in the presence of the Lord. Until we meet again, I will carry his love and memory in my heart.
