Mrs. Churchwell , what a wonderful lady. You served your community well. I brought you 25 outstanding students from across the country to join you as a member of the Texas Southern University Peace Corps/Peace Corps program. You managed them well and taught each one of them how to a teacher. To this date, their skills. They have followed your footsteps to world of teaching and cultivating the minds of young students the same way you did. Your legacy is laid, and many of us have gained a valuable experience from watching you work. Rest in Peace my dear.

Birdia and I were PV classmates, sisters of Club 26, members of the winning PVDebate Team and true friends. My condolences to her family and friends. Many pleasant memories will be cherished from knowing this outstanding lady.
