Remembering His Journey

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them that love his appearing.”

II Timothy 4:7-8

Billy (“Bill”) Earl Wills, was born to the late Eugene and Valine Wills on December 16, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana. The family later moved to Houston, Texas. Billy grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age.  He attended school in the Houston Independent School District. Professionally, he worked in the lawn services for many years.

On the afternoon of September 23, 2020, the Lord called him to his reward. He departed peacefully.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Valine Wills, his grandson, Cedric Troy Dale Wills, Jr. He leaves to continue his legacy: his sons, Cedric Troy Dale Wills and Jeffrey Earl Wills. His sisters Mary Jackson and Lynda Wills Stewart. 2 niece, Princess Daniels, Tiffany Stewart, great nieceKanisha Allen; daughter-in-law, Penny Smith, brother-in-law, Willie Ray Stewart, 6 grandchildren Shalaine, Takia, Viola, Jason, Joshua and Ebony Jade;10great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his memories.
