To my family I am praying for GOD to give us strength and comfort to face the tidal wave of emotions we now face. I pray for Faye’s children, grandchildren, siblings, cousins, and friends. We have what we don’t want and we want what we can’t have. My prayer to Almighty GOD is that HE gives us comfort and strength to face the adjustment we now face. May GOD bless each us with courage and strength to face all our tomorrows without our beloved Faye.

My heart is heavy missing my dear cousin Faye( I've never called her Wilma) we grew up together and had so much fun when they would come to Giddings to visit Grandma, she was always the one with all the laughter and energy to keep us dancing and singing. I'm sure Randy and Joe know they had the best mom there was and her grandchildren knew Grammy loved them to the moon and back.
When I was debating on when to retire I'll never forget her telling me
gir-r-rl you need to retire and enjoy yourself.

My heart is heavy with the loss of my wonderful first cousin Faye. I will cherish the memories of growing up together with her and how much fun we had. To Randy and Joey reflect on how much she loved you and how proud she was of you all and your family. She will be missed from our presence, but we know that she is resting with the Lord. My sister Wilma was a wonderful friend to me as well as a big sister, we laughed, and talked almost everyday. I would complain about my troubles and she always listened and gave great advise. She loved and talked about all her grandkids how smart and funny they were. Her light will always shine in our family memories.

Family
Only GOD can fill the empty place in the canyon of sorrow that has been left in our hearts because of our loss of Wilma's presence in this realm. I am praying that He will help us cast our whole burden of grief on HIM and let HIM carry it. Even though there may be times when it feels like we can't live through the pain, HE will sustain us.

I thank God for the sister Marvin gifted me in Wilma..she was such a wonderful model to me of loving and supportive motherhood both as a mother and grandmother. She was so proud of you all and loved you SOOO deeply, reflecting the love Christ has for her.
I am missing her and will carry her in my heart until we see each other again.

I am very for the loss of our cousin, Wilma Faye Davis. I offer sincere condolences to Randy and Joey and the rest of the Davis and Mitchell families. She will be missed, however, her memory will live in our hearts forever. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. 💐🕊️🙏🏽

Faye will truly be missed. It’s still very hard to believe. Your smile and laughter is unforgettable 🥰 I remember being her flower girl at her wedding and feeling like I was a miniature Faye because momma (Aunt Bertha), made my dress almost just like hers. Which Aunt O’Three made hers. I will never forget how special she made me feel and I was so honored that she chose me ♥️♥️ I will always love and miss you cousin. I Pray that you forever rest in peace. Life will be empty without you in it. I can picture you smiling at us now. Until we meet again, I will forever cherish your memory ♥️♥️🙏🏽🙏🏽

My sister loved you dearly. She was a light that shined so bright it warmed everyone around her. I know you will be alright because she raised you to be strong men of faith and if there is ever anything you need, you know you can count on me. I will miss her for the rest of my days.

To the Family:
Ms. Wilma was a very nice kind and understanding person. She enjoyed traveling on senior trips and having garage sale. I meet Ms. Wilmas years ago, when I was dating her brother James. I enjoyed every moment I shared with her. Her two sons and their family she loved dearly. I was sad to hear she passed. May God bless the family, and may God bless Ms. Wilma who was truly a single mother raising her boys to become men and be there for the family. Love Angela
