My dear, dear Shirley there are so many special things I will cherish as well as miss about you. The way for years you collected Rea Cake receipes for me to make for you til finally I got them just perfect for your liking, the times we spent sharing our inner most secrets, and ofcourse how you would light up when we talked about guardian angel Shampu. Shirley we shared so many special moments, happy times and now in an instant you are gone. I am once again left to learn how to accept what God allows. I will hold tight to the words of comfort you shared with me for several years as I journeyed through the back to back lost of my two brothers. I cried for them with you and now I must cry for you alone.... Rest in perfect peace my friend. I will always remember you & love you infinity.

I’m praying for your entire family, your mom was such a sweet spirit. I met her at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. I will always cherish memories of us preparing food and serving the homeless in Houston many years ago. She’s earned her crown!!! Peace and comfort to all of you 🙏🏾
