Kateesha Marie Landry was born on September 27, 1975, to the union of Ricky Landry Sr. and Victoria T. Kateesha served in the Air Force from 1999 to 2006.  Her distinguished awards include Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Training Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, NCO Professional Service Award, Education Ribbon, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal.

She accelerated in Air Force Military Training:  Apprentice Service Specialist, Apprentice Diet Therapy Specialist Fundamentals, Military Laboratory Apprentice Phases I & II, Distinguished Graduate, Airman Leadership School.

During her short life, she was employed with JC Penney, Maison Teche Nursing Home, Memorial Herman Hospital, and LRS Healthcare.  Teesha leaves to honor her memory, her Son, Jalen Jacolby Landry; Father, Ricky Landry Sr.; Mother, Victoria T. Landry; Her Beloved, Eric Chatman; Grand-Dog, Xena; Sisters, Shateeka Douglas, Lisa Landry and Sarah Landry; Brother Ricky (Tiesha) Landry; Nieces, Nyomi, Daija, Amaya, Aalivia, Azaria, Madison, London, and Savannah; Nephew, Andre; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many devoted friends.

As your Mother I do not have enough words to say how much you mean to me. I love yoy baby. You were placed in my arms 47 years ago to rock you to sleep bur now Go's has tucked you in and rocked you into eternity. As you would always say give me another hug and kiss; I wished for that now. I promise to live our your legacy to spread love and joy, especially many laughs. Wait for me with opened arms when we meet again then give me a big hug and many kisses. You know my mantra shared with my babies: " a mother's live runs deep". I love you so much.

My sincerest sympathy to the Landry family. What a prize you all had and some of mom and dad will be rejoicing in Heaven and will go on to see past family members. We grieve but she is extremely happy. You know that but hate to see any of you go through such sore and raw feelings from the heart.
